- I took three semesters at Pierce College Natural Horsemanship, worked privately with instructor on ground training and then signed up for riding lessons. Did this for about 6 months and than I adopted an older quarter horse. (4 years ago) Had a little accident March 2019 whereby he got stung and bucked ran and threw me into the area rails. Got back on as soon as I was healed. However, in October 2019 while evacuating our barn he fractured his leg. Although the fracture is healed he still is not 100% and therefore, I haven't ridden in almost 10 months. Totally lost confidence. (I wasn't the most confident rider to begin with) I ride western and want to gain more confidence in the saddle not only riding my horse, but I want to be able to get on any horse and feel confident and SAFE!. My farrier Mary Murphy recommended I contact Gayle. So here I am ready to learn and improve my skills!
