Welcome to THE Teen Horse Camp!
Here is a sample of what 2018 looked like! Check us out on January 1 for our 2019 schedule!
Our Mission: To enhance all teen campers with a sense of Harmony, Optimism, Responsibility, Spark, and Empathy through the love of horses.
Requirements: Teens must be entering 7th-9th grade and have either been to THE Horse Camp before or have taken lessons at TEE. Teen Campers must able to remain at camp until the completion of each day at 5:30pm.
THE Teen Horse Camp is a small camp environment stressing cooperation, self-care, and leadership skills. This program may not be for everyone, therefore campers may choose to be in the regular Horse Camp until age 14. THE Teen Horse Camp hours are from 12:00-5:30pm. Teen Campers have an option (at an additional cost) to register as a Counselor Assistant (CA) and help with THE Horse Camp from 8:30am-12:00pm. Attendance as a CA may be Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday & Thursday, or all five days and must be a prior commitment.
Teen Campers will participate in group decision making and help plan out their own activities for the week. They will participate in some of the special events that run for THE Horse Camp, as well as design their own. Teen Campers will have a riding lesson each afternoon as well as have a chance to student teach! This small group environment is a great way for teens to bond and gain much needed self-confidence to help guide them through these challenging years!
