Hey. I joined this site to keep in touch with some of my friends from California. I used to ride every day, all day - but as I grew up and made it out on my own money and time stopped me from doing what I love to do. At the point where I had to stop I was riding with a very prestigious stable helping and working for my lessons. I was helping re-train horses to be jumpers. All my life after moving from California I spent time going from stable to stable seeking just the right one. Throughout that adventure I came upon wonderful (and not so wonderful) horses. By learning to train horses I gained a lot of knowledge of them, and how to handle them better. I rode with one trainer for many years before she moved away. I used to own 3 beautiful horses – two of which came with me from California. Sugar (my first horse and biggest love) passed away in May of 2008. Wylie is now with a new ‘keeper’ as I couldn’t afford him anymore. I sold Jealous Jed years ago to a big show stable because I knew he had the potential but I lacked the funds to show him. I still love horses and always will, and I hope one day I can get back into riding. For now jumping on my friends horse when possible and riding around will just have to do ;)
