- I am a 61 year young former equestrian looking to get back on a horse and start riding again. I rode, owned, and trained horses for about 23 years (8 to 32) before work, life and other things kept me out of the saddle. Now that I am retired I would really like to start riding again. It's been almost 30 years (except 2 or 3 trail rides)so I thought some lessons would give me the opportunity to see where I am at and see if I still love it as much as I used to.
